Chiken Nanban is fried chicken with vinegar and tartar sauce from Miyazaki in Japan. One of my favourite Japanese style Karaage. 🙂
- 400g (14 oz) of chicken breast
- 2 tablespoon of flour
- 1 egg
- Lettace (I used 7 leafs this time)
↓Tartar sauce.
- 2 boiled eggs
- 60g (2.1 oz) of onion
- 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of parsley
- 2 teaspoon of milk
- Pinch of salt and pappers
↓Vinegar sauce.
- 3 tablespoon of sugar
- 3 tablespoon of vinegar
- 3 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 servings. 🙂
Minced onions and boiled eggs like this. Then mixed parsley, mayonnaise, milk, salt and pappers.
Sprinkle and coat some flour. Then dip into the beaten egg.
175℃ (350℉) heated oil. Cook for 15 minutes (until golden brown color).
Looks yummy!! But not finished yet. 🙂
Heated frying pan. And add the all ingredients of vinegar sauce. Heat with strong flame for 2 minutes. Then soak the chicken for 1 or 2 minutes.
Enjoy Chicken Nanban. 🙂
