Oyakodon :)

Today, I am going to share with you Oyakodon recipe.

Oyakodon = Chicken and eggs on rice.

 

  • 320g (11.2 oz) of chicken
  • 100g (3.5 oz) of onion
  • 4 beaten eggs

 

  • 300ml of water
  • 2 teaspoon of dashi
  • 2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of mirin
  • 3 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • Black pepper 
  • Steamed rice

 

2 or 3 servings. 🙂

Sliced the onions and cut the chicken into small cubes.

300ml water, 2 teaspoon of dashi, 2 tablespoon of suger and mirin into a frying pan. Then add the chicken and cook over medium heat.

Remove the foam from the surface.

Put a cover on the frying pan. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the onions, soy sauce and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the beaten eggs. Put a cover on the frying pan and cook for 2 or 3 minutes. (Eggs half cooked)

Remove from the heat.

Put the steamed rice in a bowl, then place everything else on the top and sprinkle some black pepper.
